Youth Program


mixed-youth

This programs brings mothers/parents and the children in a public space. Parents learn to feed their children healthy meals while using their cultural foods.

Literacy:
Successful youth help and tutor young children. These youth use their spare time wisely and gain the 40 community credit hours to graduate from high school. Also the university youth know how hard it was for them to graduate and they wholeheartedly give time and advice to the younger children/youth.

Youth mentorship :
Ongoing mentoring team networks for our at-risk youth ,powerful outreach by Somali mothers, to communicate with the youth at risk we engage mothers/parents. Our approach brings together the entire community – mothers, families, successful university/college youth, elders, business people...
