We keep you connected
There are many organizations to whom we regularly make referrals, such as TCHC, Social service agencies, hospitals, Toronto Public Library, High schools, mental health department, women's shelters, community legal clinics, Lawyers, doctor's offices, local politicians (regarding settlement issues) and community health.

Collaborative Activities

Theatre Jumblies
Collaboration on Somali/Canadian Theatre project
· Sewing program for the women
· Hire Somali youth for the art projects· Somali women cater their events

Arab Community Centre of Toronto
• We refer our clients here for their settlement programs (mainly immigration issues and training programs for the newcomer clients)

George Hull Centre for Children and Families
• We have long-term working relationship supporting G.H. in its ESL programs, early years programs, after school programs, workshops re: youth and drugs, and parenting workshops

Multicultural Inter-Agency Group of Peel
• Co-facilitate workshops on different topics including communication skills, domestic violence and abuse, household budgeting etc.
• Provide food, resources and honoraria for presenters to the Community Kitchen Program

Women's Health in Women's Hands
• Run workshops for the whole family: e.g. nutrition, diabetes management and preventionNorthwood

Neighbourhood Services
• Provide snacks and co-facilitate workshops for the seniors

Stonegate Health Centre
• Lend us staff to support us to establish food markets in the needy neighbourhoods

Toronto Community Housing
• We share space with their community programs
• Provide us resources for our breakfast programs
• Co-program on political literacy re: rights and duties as citizens and tenants

Toronto Public Health Nurses
• Pro bono delivery of City Food Handling Certification lessons

Canadian Mental Health Association
• Training trainers workshops – our ED has been going to parenting and mental health workshops for 5 years
